Since all beach parking in Southern Shores is
permit only, the beaches are enjoyed by owners
and their guests. There are no high
density hotels or condos. The Southern
Shores beaches maintain a relaxed, uncrowded

To reach the beach, turn right on Duck
Road. Pass one house and then make left onto Dolphin
Run.
This is the view standing at the corner of Duck
Road and Dolphin Run. The beach is just a short
walk down the road and over the dunes. From our house, our four year old has his toes
in the sand in four minutes.
